It’s gotten warm all of a sudden, not outrageously hot, but warmer than it has been for a while. I had the fantastic idea to wear my little shorts instead of my normal full coverage black running leggings. My leggings are the tight compression ones which are meant to help circulation and aid recovery, without them I decided the compression socks my beloved offered me would probably be a good idea, my lower legs need all the help they can get at the moment.

It’s quite some look I know, but I think I’m totally pulling it off. This is post my four mile run today, hence the very red face.

Anyway, I think I’ll be going back to leggings and hang the heat. But why I hear you ask, well… inner thigh friction burn, that’s why.

Just moments into my run the already short shorts bunched up and exposed my chubby white thighs to each other. The warn lubricating sweat assisted a little but by mile three there was definite burning. Summer running gear suddenly becomes a priority when your upper legs are hot enough to BBQ on, in the mean time it’s most certainly back to leggings.
