I’ve completed six weeks and I’m feeling pretty good.

An unexpected positive to come out of my challenge is the improvement in my skin. I had noticed a change a couple of weeks in but I wasn’t sure it would stick. Since starting my challenge I have just had my second period, a notorious time for spot outbreaks. I only got one teeny tiny spot on my cheek which disappeared the night after I’d noticed it. So I can say with some certainty that my skin has cleared up.
It wasn’t terrible before, but it felt as if, especially during my unhealthy winter, I have continuously had at least one spot, often two or three. They were large, angry and ever-present. I’m not sure if the spot free skin is a result of sweating out the toxins, cleaning up my diet (although I’m still having the odd indulgence), loss of weight or it’s a combination.
Whatever has led to this little bonus, it’s just one more reason for me to feel positive about starting this challenge.
It’s all going quite well.
Shelley.
